Services (Canada) is part of a network of dedicated workers who live long term
among the people they serve.
Our field workers speak
the local language and understand the culture. Together with their communities,
they design social investment projects that solve very human problems at the
grassroots level.
Our Vision—Who We Are
Our vision is to offer
intelligent compassion to hurting people living in difficult situations. Most
of our projects are designed to be self sustaining in order to bring lasting
change. We do this through a network of development center teams across the
globe.
Development Centers are the
foundation through
which we implement programs in:
· disaster
relief and reconstruction
· medical
and general heath services
· life
skills and vocational training
· education
· micro-economic
development
· agriculture
and water projects

Millennium’s commitment
is to live with and listen to the people we serve, together discerning where and
how change can best be facilitated. Effective programs created through genuine
relationship.
Millennium teams are in many far flung places in the world. As part of the network, we at Millennium Canada will be able to support any or all of these teams and their life giving projects. We are particularly focused on projects in Egypt, Indonesia, Lebanon and Chad. Our projects include agro-forestry, agriculture, livestock, trauma counseling, education, healthcare, community development and micro business initiatives.
