open=&#8221;off&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p>In partnership with a local NGO, we began our first project in southern Somaliland; serving both an <strong>IDP camp (1,500 households)<\/strong>\u00a0and a\u00a0<strong>rural village (530 households)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>We built a\u00a0<strong>rainwater reservoir<\/strong>\u00a0capable of providing clean water for six months to both communities.<\/p>\n<p>Listening to the people\u2019s needs, we avoided chlorine treatment (which alters the preferred earthy taste of local reservoirs) and instead focused on\u00a0<strong>natural filtration and safe storage<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>To ensure sustainable technology, we partnered with\u00a0<strong>Maji Milele<\/strong>, a Kenyan company with 13 years of experience delivering innovative water solutions across rural Africa.<\/p>\n<p>When the rains came, our system began flowing \u2014 turning a shared vision into clean, accessible water.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_accordion_item][\/et_pb_accordion][\/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=&#8221;1_2&#8243;
