My passion and mission is to help believers and churches connect with the most under-evangelized people of the world, to bring Christians face to face with people who’ve never met a follower of Jesus.

Recent study has shown that eight or nine out of every ten Muslims, Hindus, and Buddhists have never met a Christian. I think Jesus wants to change that. I think few people ever trust Jesus until they’ve decided they can trust one of his followers. So how do we make the connection?

I speak. Around the U.S. and some internationally, I talk to churches on Sunday morning and teach at classes throughout the week. I tell people that God is up to something big: The Bible is full of His purpose, history demonstrates it, and right now He’s at work. I help normal people discover the ways Jesus has designed them to join in God’s purposes.

I write. Like my speaking, the writing I do is designed to help believers take steps of obedience to Jesus as He leads them into involvement with other cultures. Muslim Connect is a super short weekly email that helps normal people understand and befriend Muslims. It helps us think about Muslims the way God does and love them like Jesus does. I also write monthly for Missions Catalyst and occasionally for the popular site, The Denison Forum. 

I take people. There’s nothing like sitting down for tea in the midst of the sights, sounds and smells of a different culture. Many things shape our lives, but I know of nothing more potent than a well-planned visit. So I take people to meet the most under-evangelized people on the planet. It’s one of my favorite things to do.

Since most of the 80-90% of Muslims, Hindus and Buddhists who’ve never met a Christian are not actively paying people to come and meet them, I raise funds to cover my salary and associated expenses for this work.
