Somaliland
Our Model
- We buy and secure land to protect our vision, pro-poor model and manage it responsibly.
- We harvest rainwater and dig wells to ensure year-round access.
- We filter and purify water to meet the highest standards.
- We bring water closer to communities, giving women back their time, safety, and peace of mind.
- We sell water at a lower than current, predictable price — ensuring affordability and dignity.
- We reinvest income to maintain pumps, filters, and infrastructure — for lasting impact.
Our First Project
In partnership with a local NGO, we began our first project in southern Somaliland; serving both an IDP camp (1,500 households) and a rural village (530 households).
We built a rainwater reservoir capable of providing clean water for six months to both communities.
Listening to the people’s needs, we avoided chlorine treatment (which alters the preferred earthy taste of local reservoirs) and instead focused on natural filtration and safe storage.
To ensure sustainable technology, we partnered with Maji Milele, a Kenyan company with 13 years of experience delivering innovative water solutions across rural Africa.
When the rains came, our system began flowing — turning a shared vision into clean, accessible water.
Bringing Clean, Close, and Predictable Water to the most vulnerable
As a social–ecological enterprise, we design water solutions that are resilient and work toward creating long-term abundance without dependency on external operational, maintenance funds.
Your support helps us bring clean, sustainable water to more rural communities in Somaliland and beyond.
Together, we can turn scarcity into abundance.
